I was sick last week and had to go to the Dr. Then I had 2 hours to wait until the prescription was ready. Since we had already been to the grocery store earlier in the week, my little girl and I went to the Goodwill to browse. I haven’t been to the Goodwill in a couple of months and the pickings were pretty sparse. We were lucky enough to find the 50% off sign on jackets and outerwear and scored a few fun items. All of the items were listed with a best offer option, so while I hope they sell for full price, I’m expecting to sell them for $5-$10 less than what I have listed. I will let you know in future posts when they sell.
Vintage Women’s Puffer Vest paid 2.00 listed for $49
I think I am finally back in the groove of things and will be able to post more frequently!
So here’s a short recap of what I’ve been up to the last month.
Yesterday my son turned 6 years old. (sob)
Today is my 9 year wedding anniversary!
I am going to be a grandma (well, actually a Granny!) in January.
We are back from our family vacation, where we went to visit my stepdaughter, see some historic Oregon Trail sites (my son’s request for his birthday- love that kid!) and source (let’s just say the camper was a little full on the way home)
and I have some big news to announce in a few weeks. Yay!
My plan for the rest of this week is to package and ship the items I bought on our vacation to Amazon, I have some really good profit margins in there and I want to get them in before the price drops. The UPS man comes to my house on Friday for pick ups, so I had better get busy! I also am hoping to get at least 20 items listed on ebay, prepare for my son’s birthday party on Saturday and spend a little date night time with my hubby.
My sales look pretty pathetic this week because I put everything on vacation mode except for FBA. I wasn’t sure about internet connection where we were going (it was awful!) so I didn’t want to keep my ebay store open and take the chance of someone being mad about the extended shipping time.
Number of Items Listed: 2308
Sales for the week: $ 91.81
Average price of items sold: 22.95
It’s been very slow on all fronts.
I had 3 sales on Amazon this week including a cat clock that meows on every hour
I woke up this morning to a call from the school where I teach. SNOW DAY!
I have been busy this week preparing for Parent Teacher Conferences at work. I haven’t had much time for listing, shopping, Ebay, or really anything else that’s fun. Also found out on Wednesday that my mom is having to have surgery today.Due to the storm I am not able to go to the hospital with her. It’s been kind of a yucky week. Yesterday in between work and then going back to work for conferences I had an hour to go by our local Goodwill.
I spent less than I usually do, but still found some good deals, including 1/2 price tag and some blue tag items they had marked down.
I got a great 1980’s ski jacket, some red Home plates, (I need to get those listed very soon for Valentine’s Day), and some unique women’s jackets. I will try to get some photos taken to show you my score.
I also saw a drum carder that was marked down to 99.00, from 149.00. I wasn’t sure if it was a good deal or not, and unfortunetly, I can’t afford a phone with internet yet. So, I checked this morning and think that I should have gotten it! Most of the drum carders are going for $200 and more. However, due to the storm I’m not going to be able to get back into get it until probably Monday. I didn’t get the brand name of the carder, so I thought about calling the store and seeing if they still have it, then I might call Hubby at work and see if he’s going to be in town. I really need to figure out how to get some wireless internet when I am out and about.
So, my plan for today, in-between loads of laundry, dishes and vaccumming, is to get some photos taken and lots of items listed. I haven’t sold anything all week until last night and today. So I’m motivated to get listing again!
